If you've been following Earth Elements on social media for awhile, you probably know that in 2020, I shifted my Reiki trainings to an online format.
While this decision was in response to the changes that were happening in the world at the time, I realized that the online trainings were working so well for myself and my Reiki students, that I decided to keep them that way.
There are three levels to my Reiki courses; Level 1, 2, and Master. The trainings are based on the Usui method of natural healing. They also have other spiritual teachings woven in that complement and expand on the traditional Reiki techniques.
One of the wonderful things about these trainings is that we can work together no matter where you are located in the world. These are private, one-on-one courses, so you can work through them at your own pace, and we have the benefit of getting to know each other better during the process.
I thought I would share some of the FAQs I receive about my online Reiki trainings. If you've been considering becoming a Reiki practitioner, or continuing your journey with Reiki, have a look at the questions below, and see if this offering could be the right fit for you.
How long does it take to complete my training?
Each level is self-paced, and allows you to work through the material and integrate it at your own time. So, it really takes as long as you choose to complete each level. Some students will move through a level very quickly (within a matter of weeks), and others take years to finish. There is no set timeline on my end. The training is designed to work with you as you move forward on your spiritual path.
Will I have access to you during the entire length of my training?
Absolutely. You are always welcome to email me with any questions you have during your training and after you have completed it too. Whether it's been a week, or 10 years since you've taken your Reiki training with me, I'm always here for you if you need clarification on anything.
How do the attunements work?
We meet over Skype for your attunement. I have some guidelines on how to best prepare for your attunement in your Reiki manuals. The distance attunements work much like the in-person attunements, except that I won't be physically touching you during the process. They take about 10-15 minutes, and you may feel some gentle sensations in your body as I open up your chakra points. Sometimes students receive visions, hear their angels talking to them, feel emotional or very relaxed as the process unfolds. These are all are wonderful signs that your energy is opening up to the high vibration of Reiki.
How do the practicum sessions work?
The Reiki practicums are offered to Level 2 and Master students. For each level, you'll have the opportunity to work with two volunteer Reiki clients (that I will provide for you), and you'll offer them a distance Reiki session. We'll chat (via email) before your sessions about how to best support your clients' healing process, and offer them a positive, uplifting distance Reiki session. After your practicum sessions, I'll provide some feedback on your sessions, and answer any questions that came up for you. This will be done via email as well. The aim with the practicum sessions is to get you comfortable offering Reiki and working with different types of clients.
Will I be prepared to offer Reiki to clients after Level 2?
Absolutely. In Level 2, we talk more about offering Reiki to clients in both in-person and distance formats. While you won't have in-person practicum sessions, you will have a very detailed description of how to offer Reiki to in-person clients, and we will also talk more about this in our Skype sessions. The key is to practice. The more you practice offering Reiki in-person and via distance (on friends and family) the more comfortable you will become with the process. And then, you'll see that your paying clients will start to naturally find you.
Can my teenager take your Reiki training?
Yes! I love working with teens. If your teen is displaying an interest in Reiki, angels, healing, etc., please feel free to reach out and we can chat more about this. Reiki is a wonderful healing modality for teenagers and can really support them through the various stages of their lives.
I have taken my Reiki training with another Reiki Master, and would like to re-certify, can I do that?
You absolutely can. No matter how long it's been since your Reiki training, you can always re-certify, and I would be happy to work with you.
I have taken Level 1 (or 2) with another Reiki Master, can I complete my next levels with you?
Definitely! If you have taken Level 1 or 2 with another Master, you'll receive my manuals up to your current level of certification, along with the level you are registering for. I do ask that you email me a copy of your Reiki training certificate(s), so I have them on file.
Do I need to teach Reiki after taking my Reiki Master training?
You will have all the tools necessary to teach after taking your Reiki Master training, but it's not a requirement to become a Reiki teacher. Many students come to the Reiki Master training simply to deepen their connection with the energy of Reiki. That being said, keep an open mind. When I took my Reiki Master training, I had no intentions of teaching, but the path found me. And 11 years later, I can wholeheartedly say that I'm so very glad it did.
Can I gift a Reiki training to a loved one?
Definitely! If your loved one has been interested in learning Reiki, you can gift them a training. Please reach out to me, and I would be happy to provide you with an e-gift card.
I hope that gives you a deeper look into the online Reiki trainings. If you have any further questions, please feel free to send me a note, I'm always happy to hear from you.
