I've had a daily morning meditation practice for over a decade, and I'm a big advocate of it. It's something I always recommend to my lovely Reiki students, and my Reiki and Feng Shui clients as well.

The idea of meditation is to quiet your mind enough so that the momentum of any negative thoughts you may have slows down and eventually subsides. As that happens, you open up to your natural connection with your Source and your angels. And then, positive thoughts and visions begin to flow.
Meditation is a wonderful way to find resonance with what your Source and your angels know about you. It's a way to quiet down your human awareness of things, and tune into the Non-Physical realm. Meditation allows solutions to flow, helps heal your mind and body, and supports you in finding the vibration of all things that you desire.
In short, it's a powerful tool to transform your life.
Crystals are a wonderful support for meditation. Bringing a crystal or two into your meditation practice can soothe your energy, and help you find a quieted mind more easily. It can also assist you in trusting the information you receive during meditation.
Here are a few tips on how you can effectively meditate with your crystals:
Choose crystals that feel good to you.
Trust your intuition when it comes to selecting the right crystals for your meditation practice. Stick to 1 or 2 at a time. Try to select crystals that aren't too high energy. Ones that feel soothing and grounding are always good choices.
Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Angelite, Celestite, Clear Quartz, Aquamarine, Amazonite, Moss Agate, Kiwi Jasper, Blue Quartz, Lapis Lazuli, Azurite, Aragonite, Chrysocolla, Larvikite, Moonstone, and Strawberry Quartz are all really lovely choices for meditation.
Place your crystals around you or on your body.
It's nice to have a crystal on your body during meditation. Rose Quartz and Angelite are my crystals of choice during meditation these days, and I place one in my lap and the other beside me on my blanket. If you wear crystal jewellery, simply having it on during meditation can feel amazing.
Keeping a crystal on your body allows you to receive the healing benefits of it directly. Sometimes you may feel energy moving in your body during meditation right where your crystal is placed.
Having a crystal nearby can feel really nice too. One on your blanket, bedside table, or on your meditation mat can enhance the energy of your space. You'll receive the benefits in your energy field, and you'll be able to drop into your mediation more easily too.
Switch up your crystals as you are guided.
As you are moving through different phases of your life and working with different intentions, you may feel guided to work with new crystals. Honour your feelings and let yourself gravitate to the ones that feel best.
To get the most benefit from your crystals, try using them in meditation for a period of time. Sticking with them for awhile will allow you to receive their healing energy to the fullest.
You may find that you work with a few crystals for months or even years. And some will feel best to work with for a period of just a few weeks. It all depends where you are in your own personal evolution. And all of it is perfect.
Crystals can enhance your meditation practice in a wonderful way. I hope these tips encourage you to begin a meditation practice (if you don't already have one) and bring some crystal friends in to assist.
